1. The questions below should be dealt with in the "Discussion" section. Choose one of them and share your opinion with the class

  • In what way (if any) do the culture of shops and shopping differ in your country from the British one?

  • Do people in your country have the same attitude to home as the British?

  • Is there a habit of eating out in your country? Do you have an phenomenon similar to a pub?

  • What national passions are there in your culture comparable with the British ones?

  • Try to find any parallels in celebrating national holidays in Britain and in Russia.
